Future Moves Information

Future Moves is a social enterprise supporting young people aged 16–27 in making choices across seven life domains: finances, mental health, work, education, housing, personal development, and entrepreneurship. In 2026, our primary focus is on finances and mental health, as financial stress and mental pressure often go hand in hand and play a decisive role in young people’s future perspectives. We reach young people early through our community (FutureFam) and offline activities, help them create clarity around their questions, and guide them step by step towards existing support, knowledge, and opportunities within these domains. In doing so, we act as a connector: young people are at the center, while partners remain strong in their own roles. Amsterdam-Zuidoost is our starting point and living lab, where we deepen and further develop our approach. From there, we will expand in 2026 to Amsterdam-Oost and Nieuw-West, using a lighter, neighborhood-based model built on what works in Zuidoost. We use digital tools and AI in a supportive way to understand patterns and needs and to strengthen collaboration across the ecosystem. In this way, we contribute to sustainable future perspectives for young people, with a strong focus on prevention, proximity, and scalability.
