Future Instruments Information

Future instruments develops core interactive technologies that aim at changing the way we work, learn, create and communicate. "Multitouch Everywhere", the first technology platform developed by Future instruments, allows to transform any flat surface into a multitouch interface. It is currently used to make large collaborative surfaces for education and corporate use. On the application side, "Infinite Surface" is a web based platform for sharing and manipulating information in a totally new manner. Any number of mobile of fixed devices can be interconnected via a server, in order to create a larger, virtual surface formed by all the interconnected devices. Information (notes, photos, videos, links, etc) is embedded into virtual objects, which can be sent from one surface to the other by a simple sliding movement.
