Future Forward Education Information

Future Forward Education was founded by Mike Ross, an award-winning Los Angeles County technology leader who believes that education is not just about classrooms — it’s about legacy, opportunity, and the courage to keep going even when obstacles arise. As Mike often says: “Don’t fear abstraction — sometimes you need to zoom out, imagine differently, and only then can you innovate.” That mindset is at the heart of our work. Future Forward Education is dedicated to transforming educational experiences for students and families, one school at a time. We partner with schools and communities to break down barriers and expand access to resources. From STEM programs and curriculum development to family engagement and financial literacy, our whole-family approach is designed to give young people the tools they need to thrive — in school, and in life. Mike’s journey has always been about persistence. “Even through the dread— when doubt or setbacks hit — you keep going. That’s the only way forward.” That philosophy fuels our commitment to youth in Los Angeles and beyond. Today, Future Forward Education proudly collaborates with Los Angeles schools such as: 1. UCLA Community School 2. Virgil Middle School 3. Eisner, Camino Middle School 4. Young Oak Kim Academy Middle School 5. Canoga Park Middle School Our vision is clear: to build lasting impact through partnership, measurable progress, and the belief that every student can succeed if given the chance.
