Teach First is an education charity that trains brilliant teachers, equips school leaders and campaigns for educational justice. Since 2003, we've reached over 1.5 million pupils facing disadvantage. We are building a movement of Change Makers and Change Partners, making sure every child, no matter their background, gets the opportunities they deserve. Change is possible.

The University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) in Preston was founded in 1828 as the Institution for the Diffusion of Knowledge. ‘Ex solo ad solem’, or in translation, ‘From the Earth to the Sun’, has been its motto ever since – helping people from all walks of life to make the most of their potential is what UCLan’s all about. From state-of-the-art facilities and world class teaching and support to help undergraduate students succeed, to providing world-leading Astrophysics researchers with the opportunity to work with NASA and photograph the Sun, UCLan has it all.

Young Enterprise is the UK’s leading financial and enterprise education charity. We believe every young person, whatever their starting point, deserves the chance to build the skills, confidence and experience needed to succeed in life, including managing their money well. Our hands-on, practical programmes help young people develop confidence, teamwork, problem-solving and money skills that last a lifetime. Through volunteers, educators and partners, we connect young people with opportunities and role models that can open doors. Our Transforming Futures strategy commits us to making these opportunities truly inclusive and accessible, especially for those facing the biggest barriers. We’re building a fairer system that values enterprise and financial education, drives social mobility and helps every young person unlock their potential, regardless of their starting point in life.
