We currently operate in South San Francisco, CA, and Laramie, WY. Our new Compton, CA site set to open in 2021 will be the world’s first, high-capacity indoor vertical farm. Square Roots is an indoor farming platform built to accelerate agricultural research in the face of climate change. Commercial organizations partner with Square Roots to secure guaranteed supply of specialty items and accelerate trials for new varieties. Non-commercial and pre-commercial organizations leverage the Square Roots platform to perform fundamental crop research and explore novel means and uses of plant production, for food and beyond.
