UnStock is now part of Promo.com Family. UnStock, founded in 2015 by Jakub Gorajek, Kamil Goliszewski and Adam Cellary is a modern stock footage platform that quickly gained trust from content creators and customers. The idea was also backed by Netflix co-founder, Mitch Lowe, who became the company’s advisor from the first days. Tomasz Pasternak (UX / UI) and Krystian Solarz (iOS) joined the team early in 2016. In April 2016, UnStock became the first Polish startup joining AngelPad program – a prestigious accelerator program listed as U.S. number one by Forbes. At the end of the program, UnStock pitched their business during the 10th AngelPad Demo Day in San Francisco to 200 Silicon Valley angel investors and leading VC funds. In the following months, UnStock formed several key partnerships with larger video marketing brands. Among them was Slidely, which earlier released a tool for SMBs allowing to create high quality video commercials on social media. The acquisition and joining Slidely’s team is a phenomenal synergy of strength, tools and strategy as well as a very exciting step forward. It allows us to spread the wings and create even more innovative mechanisms that change the world of video marketing. At the same time, UnStock team will play a significant role in the development of Slidely's new applications, starting with with building a Polish branch from scratch and recruiting several app developers.
