Futurcene Information

For more than 11,000 years, Earth enjoyed an undisturbed epoch of true abundance. Plentiful natural resources allowed us to develop and eventually thrive as humanity. Plants grew, species evolved, the natural world blossomed into existence. Scientists named this period ‘Holocene’. But since the mid-20th century, our exceptional growth started to deplete resources, ultimately shifting living conditions on Earth to become inhospitable in many places. This new era became known as ‘Anthropocene’. We believe that we can, and have to, do better, for a more nourished planet, and a more enriched experience of living on it. We call this progress ‘Futurcene’ – a new epoch offering balanced, sustainable and long-lasting development; the existence of a better tomorrow. With collaboration and unity standing as some of our core believes, we look forward to working with you as we progress, together, on this journey.
