FundiFix Information

FundiFix is a Kenyan-owned social enterprise delivering performance-based maintenance and management services that keep rural water infrastructure functional and reliable. Operating in Kitui and Kwale Counties since 2016, FundiFix has reduced waterpoint downtime from more than one month to less than three days, securing reliable access to safe drinking water for over 70,000 people across 120+ rural communities. With established local offices and a team of more than 35 skilled staff, FundiFix demonstrates how professionalized rural water service delivery can deliver measurable impact at scale. Beyond service provision, FundiFix is actively engaging with the National Governments and County Governments, Non-Governmental Organizations, Private Sector, Users and Funders to promote support for and the uptake of professionalized rural water service delivery models, support sector learning, and strengthen institutional and policy frameworks for sustainable water services in Kenya.
