We are the Business Foundation for Social Action (Fundación Empresarial para la Acción Social, FUNDEMAS) a non-profit organization born on May 25, 2000, thanks to a visionary group of entrepreneurs, who saw the need to create an organization dedicated to promoting, in the Salvadoran business sector, the adoption of CSR values, policies and practices to achieve business competitiveness and sustainable economic and social development in El Salvador. Since our inception we have promoted CSR among entrepreneurs, regardless of the productive sector to which they belong or their size, as well as the way of doing competitive business, allowing companies to incorporate policies and practices for the benefit of stakeholders, employees, community, the environment and its value chain, through the adoption of measures aligned to its business strategy. In addition FUNDEMAS promotes the adoption of CSR, according to the ISO 26000 standard based on seven subjects, which are: governance, internal public, community, environment, responsible marketing, suppliers and public policy. Through our CSR programs, we offer SMEs and large companies the following services: - Seminars, trainings and workshops - Specialized consultancy - National and international events - Self-evaluation tool for CSR practices and policies, applicable to companies and organizations of any economic sector called IndicaRSE. - Publications, research, practical guides and studies - Management and/or implementation of projects to promote CSR and entrepreneurship strategies - Workshops of Development of the Entrepreneurial Capacity of the International Program EMPRETEC, methodology created by the Organization of the United Nations.
