Fundació Barcelona Promoció Information

The Fundació Barcelona Promoció (FBP) was created in 1987, coinciding with the success of the candidature of the City of Barcelona to organize the 25th Olympic Games of 1992. Promoted by the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, the FBP received principal support of both the main institutions of the City and the business sector, as well as most of the representative associations. Since then, the FBPs main purpose is to promote the image of the City of Barcelona all over the world, mainly in economic and social respects. The FBP maintains a second office in Brussels, very close to the European institutions, which optimizes the use of time and effort for client companies. In order to achieve its objectives the FBP developed three principal lines of activity: - A Corporate Diplomacy guidance service in Europe - International business support as a facilitator promoting foreign direct investment - Worldwide promotion of the City of Barcelona
