Fundaci Information

Ciudadano Inteligente is a non for profit Latin American organization based in Santiago-Chile, that through the means of information technology innovation, promotes transparency and citizen participation, as tools to protect and develop stronger democracies. We define ourselves as a diverse and inclusive NGO, which though aligned with the liberal principle of free access to information, does not respond to any political or party interest, but to the horizontal protection of democratic values, where governments should respond to the interest of the majority, and not to the small minority which may use it’s influence to preserve private interests. We are a secular organization, that is respectful and supporter of political, cultural, social, religious, and sexual diversity. We seek to promote a more just and inclusive society, where all citizens are equal in rights and opportunities.
