fryga Information

fryga is a four-person product engineering consultancy in Kraków, with Norwegian co-owners at Rubynor in Oslo. We solve hard product problems on Ruby on Rails — for product companies past MVP, the ones whose codebase, team, or AI rollout needs more than they can ship alone. Three problems we recognize: • Rescue — "We can't ship." We read the mess and decide what to kill, instead of writing more code on top of it. • Scale — "We need to scale this." Architecture decisions that hold from one market to five. • Ship with AI — "AI isn't sticking." 10% in demos, 2–3× in production. The difference is who ships. We work in two-week sprints: scope agreed upfront, working software at the end, and you can stop after any one of them. Sprint one is always the decision sprint — the kill / keep / build map of your codebase, with the first fix already shipped. You keep everything we build. The work so far: Domestika (13-year Rails monolith rescue, deploy time −40%), FastTravel (one airport to the five biggest in Norway, driver wait 4h → 30min, three years and counting), nerds.family + Gyfted (AI shipping to production daily, 7+ months).
