Frontier Angels Information

Frontier Angels is a group of 100+ individual angel investors across the state of MT who gather regularly in Bozeman, Missoula, Kalispell and Billings to invest time and money in emerging technology companies in software, biotech, ag-tech, energy tech, and other sectors providing technology-leveraged business models. We focus on seed and A-round capital stages and consider companies from Montana and the greater PacNW and Rockies region. In our group, individual members pick and choose the opportunities they wish to invest in. We also have an optional Matching Fund which programmatically invests in a company when 4 or more of our members make individual investment commitments to that company. We also work to concentrate both capital and experience around a small set of foundational programs designed to help accelerate the commercial viability of quality technology companies in Montana. We view our mission as one of helping to create clean, high-paying jobs in our Montana communities while we make smart investments. We work closely with Montana State University VP Research office, TechLink, the Chief Commercial Officer of Montana, Montech, Blackstone Launchpad, and our partners at Next Frontier Capital to continue to improve our collective ability to conceive and commercialize technology in Montana.
