Front Row Theater Information

Front Row Center is the collective accumulation of knowledge gained over a lifetime of experiences by its founding partner Elliot Goldman. Elliot has been in the audio industry since 1967. He started working his way through college in Boston and after graduation went to work with Lafayette Radio Electronics in New York. He wired and built sound rooms for them and while doing this really learned about the proper way to make things sound better. He left there after a few years and went to work for the first High End Audio store on Long Island. Here he was exposed to the exploding world of quality audio components. This dealer carried all the best products and started this journey of bringing the sound of music into the home. Elliot then started his first store called Audio Den on Long Island which although he sold it is still there today. His world dramatically changed by going to work at the "temple of the high end" Lyric HiFi in New York City. It was here under the wing of Mike Kay and Harry Pearson from the Absolute Sound that he really got an audio PHD! It wasn't long before he met and learned from the best the audio world had to offer. In those years Lyric truly was the center of the audio world. If you made a quality product you wanted it represented by Lyric. He worked there for over 11 years and finally he and his family decided to move to Florida. He opened FRC first in Boca in the early 1990's. It was a small high end store and grew slowly over the years and with the help of a few investors and a new corporation moved to Fort Lauderdale where it expanded into Florida's leading High End Store. It was a few years later that Chris Cotter the stores installation and technical expert decided to buy in and become a partner. They bought out the investors and finally moved to a building they purchased two and a half years ago. Chris is the technical and installation expert. His computer and automation expertise allowed FRC to grow into some new areas and expanded the business. FRC has since done large systems for companies like Gunther Volkswagen in three locations including their new one of a kind , state of the art facility in Buford Georgia opening in Jan. 2011. FRC was honored to be selected to do this incredibly prestigious project . Elliot and Chris spend many hours testing and listening to products to make sure they meet the standards needed to become one of the products they will represent. They are always concerned with the sound, look, ease of use and the reliability of each product. There are new dealers in the area, most of which got their basic education from FRC but only FRC carries the products that truly can deliver the sound, picture and service that you our clients ultimately deserve.
