Correct, timely diagnosis is the key to the best possible outcome. Our strategy begins by studying all available patient history provided by you and your primary care veterinarian. We then approach each problem with a "from scratch" attitude, evaluating every relevant aspect of your horse's performance issue. We combine your horse's history with our knowledge and experience and use state-of-the-art diagnostic techniques and equipment to create a "clinical picture" of your horse's problem. Our goal is to identify the root cause of the problem and to prescribe an effective treatment and rehabilitation plan. With your approval, we then treat your horse on-site. If special off-site treatment is required, we act as an advocate for you and your horse to ensure cohesion of care. By creating and evaluating your horse's clinical picture, we guide you and your horse through any external specialty treatment. We will work with you and your primary care team-your primary care veterinarian, your trainer and your farrier-to implement a seamless plan of care to return your horse to its peak performance.
