Originally founded as a buy-sell-vintage and gift shop in 2012, Friends NYC began as a friendship pact between wannabe-sisters and BFFs, Mary Meyer and Emma Kadar-Penner. Combining their experiences and expertise in fashion design, fashion/textile history and their shared obsession with thrifting, the duo said ‘I do!’ to opening their 2200 sq ft flagship in Bushwick, Brooklyn in 2012 and haven’t looked back - at least not that much ;)
