A movement to get the world talking and a not for profit that helps provide grants and investments for young people. Since starting Student Beans over 9 years ago, I'm often asked to speak at events and run sessions in schools, universities and businesses. The more we grow, the more I appreciate the connections and network of people behind every success story. Let me share a short story... 18 months ago I was on the tube and sitting next to me was a guy with a CV in his hand. I struck up a conversation and asked if he was looking for a job. It turned out he was, we were recruiting and to cut a slightly longer story short, Nick (yes, the guy on the tube!) came and joined us at The Beans Group. This got me thinking - how can I help other people connect and create more of these positive collisions? Every day there are missed opportunities with people who pass us by, during our commute, on the street, at events and even at our at our own workplaces. Often we never even know about the opportunities we’ve missed. I've had an idea that I think is going to change that. It's one of those big ideas that's got to start somewhere. FriendlyFriday was born.
