Freudenberg Performance Materials is a world leader in the manufacture of technical textiles for the construction industry. Our nonwovens are highly versatile and easy to process, while their use of recycled raw materials minimizes their environmental footprint. Our core business is the production of polyester nonwovens, made using both staple and spunbonded technology, and used as carriers for bituminous waterproofing membranes. At Freudenberg we are dedicating to pioneering sustainable solutions that create better global living conditions. We began systematic recycling more than 20 years ago and today, we convert an estimated seven millions post-consumer PET bottles into polyester nonwovens every day. In fact, the majority of our nonwovens are produced using recycled polyester.
