Our mission is to promote student achievement and preparation for global competitiveness by fostering educational excellence and ensuring equal access. ED is dedicated to: • Establishing policies on federal financial aid for education, and distributing as well as monitoring those funds. • Collecting data on America's schools and disseminating research. • Focusing national attention on key educational issues. • Prohibiting discrimination and ensuring equal access to education.

Our mission is to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. Follow our page to stay up to date on the latest Big Brothers Big Sisters news. We'll also include regular updates and links that will help to demonstrate the true value of mentoring and the positive impact that it can have on the life of a child or young person. We accomplish our mission by partnering with parents/guardians, volunteers and others in the community, and we hold ourselves accountable for each child in our program achieving: - Higher aspirations, greater confidence, and better relationships; - Avoidance of risky behaviors; and - Educational success.

College Possible is a nonprofit founded in 2000 that provides six-plus years of free, personalized college coaching for low-income and first-generation students. Coaches support admissions, FAFSA and completion pathways—over 100,000 students have received help turning higher-education goals into reality.
