Freewind Energy is a Puerto Rican based manufacturer and vertically integrated developer of Wind Turbine distributed energy resource systems for residential, C&I and community wind & solar projects. Our Vertical Axis Wind Turbine ‘VAWT’ technology finds applications in a diverse array of applications. Through our development partners, Freewind DER systems can be deployed on an energy as a service ‘EaaS’, resilience as a service ‘Raas’, demand load response virtual power plant ‘VPP’, or power purchase agreements ‘PPAs’. Using unique IP, atmospheric weather modeling and machine learning technology (AI), our systems can provide power generation and EV charging solutions to customers anywhere on the planet without the need for utility interconnection or transmission congestion analyses.
