The College offers a wide range of land-based and non land-based courses for those looking for Further or Higher Education and many courses offer clear progression routes from Entry Level through to Honours Degrees and beyond. The College also offers a wide range of apprenticeships and work-based learning opportunities for those who would prefer to earn while they learn.

East Riding College welcomes more than 1,600 full-time students every year, with thousands more taking part-time and higher education courses. Our main campuses are in the beautiful historic market town of Beverley and the popular coastal resort of Bridlington in the East Riding of Yorkshire, with a smaller site in Hull. We are an ambitious College, with a strong desire to improve the high standard of teaching we provide and the campuses our students come to. In 2009, we opened a brand new campus in Bridlington, which won the prestigious title of ‘Best Educational Building in Yorkshire’ followed by our new state-of-the-art Flemingate Centre which opened in Beverley in 2015 and offers excellent facilities for staff and students.

South Hunsley is an oversubscribed and popular 11-18 school in an attractive and sought-after area of East Yorkshire. We have excellent results, a highly committed staff and purposeful and congenial students. South Hunsley has been awarded Specialist Technology and Engineering Status and Training School Status, and is also a School's Sports Coordinator Partnership school. In addition we have had an extensive building programme with our new sports development now providing first class sporting facilities for ourselves and the community. We also had a successful OFSTED inspection which said "The school promotes an ethos for learning based on high expectations, inclusion and very good relationships."
