The College offers a wide range of land-based and non land-based courses for those looking for Further or Higher Education and many courses offer clear progression routes from Entry Level through to Honours Degrees and beyond. The College also offers a wide range of apprenticeships and work-based learning opportunities for those who would prefer to earn while they learn.

East Riding College welcomes more than 1,600 full-time students every year, with thousands more taking part-time and higher education courses. Our main campuses are in the beautiful historic market town of Beverley and the popular coastal resort of Bridlington in the East Riding of Yorkshire, with a smaller site in Hull. We are an ambitious College, with a strong desire to improve the high standard of teaching we provide and the campuses our students come to. In 2009, we opened a brand new campus in Bridlington, which won the prestigious title of ‘Best Educational Building in Yorkshire’ followed by our new state-of-the-art Flemingate Centre which opened in Beverley in 2015 and offers excellent facilities for staff and students.

We are a maintained secondary school for 11-18 year olds based in Bridlington with approximately 980 students on roll. We have a relentless focus on high quality teaching and learning and have high expectations of all our students and staff. Our aim is to “hand on the torch of life” by providing a well-rounded education that allows all students to achieve their full potential and go out into the world as successful citizens.
