FRAP is a highly specialized company that designs, develops, and manufactures a comprehensive range of control arms, ball-joints, tie rod ends, track rods and additional components for steering and suspension systems for cars, trucks, agricultural machineries and earth moving machineries, atv's, 3-wheelers ... The constant research & design improvement in the manufacture of high quality products enables us to achieve a leading position in this market where vehicle safety is paramount. The company was established in 1932 in Piossasco (Turin) as a manufacturer of ball-joints, pins, valve tappets and gear box mechanisms for a number of customers such as FIAT Veicoli Industriali, SAME and LANCIA. In 1996 our company was awarded the ISO 9002 certification by DET NORSKE VERITAS (DNV) and a few months later facilities were moved to the new factory in the industrial estate in Bruino, near to the finished parts warehouse. In 1997 the ISO 9001 certification was awarded to include design as well as production of ball-joints, tie rod ends and track rods, In 2003 has been obtained the ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:1996 certifications and on May 2015 we have obtained the ISO TS 16949.
