Four Seasons Ventures UK LLP is a London-based investment scout for Luxembourg registered funds aimed at informed international investors, who tend to be high net worth individuals, family offices and private banks. We are looking for people and companies with attractive business opportunities who require investment and support to realise their ambitions. We are not really venture capitalists - but LinkedIn has a limited set of categories and we don't see ourselves as investment bankers, that is for sure. We don't need to or want to tie ourselves to a specific sector or industry - good business opportunities and good people are not defined by sector . We have good understanding of the characteristics that we are looking for and for us that is more important when identifying a good investment opportunity. Of course this works both ways - anyone looking for investment will naturally be looking for a lot more than just money from the investor. When you invite someone into your house you don't expect them to put their feet on the coffee table or help themselves to the contents of the fridge. Well not if you are anticipating a long and rewarding relationship anyway. Our team consists primarily of people who have run and managed several businesses across a range of industries so neither the slide-rule nor the spreadsheet are the first thing we reach for.
