Image has been funded in 1999 by the photographer Fulvio Bugani as his own studio in Bologna. Nowadays it has been transformed in a cultural association with the aim to promote photography and visual communication. It is also a school of photography which organizes events, talks, courses and workshop. Since 2017 collaborates with Cineteca of Bologna on the promotion of the photographic culture.
