Forum For Trade Remedies (FFTR) Information

Forum for Trade Remedies (FFTR), is a pan India association formed to supplement the efforts of various industry stakeholders and provide whatever support is needed by them in matters related to trade defence measures (i.e. anti-dumping, safeguard and anti-subsidy), foreign trade policy, free trade agreements and other international trade/policy issues. FFTR is a forum comprising of established bureaucrats, policy analysts, domestic industry representatives, international trade attorneys, and international economic law researchers having a specialism in their respective areas from some of the top institutes in the world. FFTR aims to promote and protect the interests of the Indian manufacturing sector in terms of domestic and international legal frameworks and economic policies affecting international trade. Further, it aims at providing support to the Government through discussions and sharing views of the industry, thereby, promoting the interest of the Indian manufacturing sector. Since its inception, FFTR has been carrying out various activities in different parts of the country. These activities include talks by international trade experts, seminars, workshops, advice on policy matters, et cetera. Apart from such events, we also provide internship/research assistantship to students who can work on our policy projects concerning international trade.
