Fortunoff Backyard Store operates 29 retail outdoor & patio furniture stores throughout New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Virginia. In 1922, Max and Clara Fortunoff wheeled a pushcart full of pots and pans down the streets of Brooklyn, New York, toward the Livonia Avenue Market. They called their shop-on-wheels Fortunoff's, and from this humble beginning, a family business was born. Fortunoff Backyard Store may no longer carry cookware and other home goods, but we celebrate our history by staying true to the values that founded us–value, variety, and excellent service. We are a customer service driven company that strives for quality in every aspect of our business.
