Sensitive human data should be protected at the source. FrontlineOS™ brings selected AI functions onto supported wearables and edge devices, so raw signals can be processed where they are generated rather than continuously sent to a remote cloud. For those functions, less sensitive data needs to cross a network or be copied into central storage. That can reduce exposure during transmission and give organisations greater control over where information is handled. On-device processing also delivers low-latency feedback when internet or cloud connectivity is unavailable or unreliable. Where a use case calls for shared data or additional analysis, the deployment defines what leaves the device and who can access it. In Singapore, HTX documented our Dimension X proof of concept with Home Team users in simulated mixed-reality training.
