Fortier Engineering Information

Fortier Engineering provides HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection design, building energy modeling using DOE's Energy Plus program, mechanical systems commissioning and retrocommissioning, energy auditing, and energy savings and performance contracting consulting, including M&V (Measurement and Verification) for guaranteed savings contracts. The Principal of Fortier Engineering, plus two other employees, are LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified. Fortier Engineering has extensive experience with the design, implementation, and commissioning of Direct Digital Control Facilities Automation Systems. Fortier Engineering, although a small consulting firm, has developed into an organization with a broad range of technical skills that can be applied to new building design, existing building retrofit, energy auditing, building commissioning, and energy savings M&V. Our organization possesses excellent computer skills, and a solid foundation in basic science and engineering, such that new technologies, methods, and skills can continually be acquired to respond to the needs of our customers in a rapidly changing world. Fortier Engineering is located in the business district of the Squirrel Hill area of Pittsburgh.
