STRATEGIC PRIORITY AREAS - OUR COUNTYWIDE GOALS
To accomplish our mission and work toward our vision, the Boar dof Commissioners identified six Strategic Priority Areas that reflect the major goals of the government. Fulton County is one of many actors within a system of multiple governments that serve the County's residents. In order to have the greatest impact, we intend to collaborate with partners in the public, private and nonprofit sectors to ensure that "all people," regardless of where they live in the County, can achieve these goals:

Marietta City Schools (MCS) is a Georgia Charter System that serves more than 8,900 students at one PreK Early Learning Center, eight elementary choice schools, one sixth grade academy, one middle school, and one high school. MCS is the first International Baccalaureate (IB) World School District in Georgia. As an IB World School District, MCS offers the optional IB Primary Years Programme for grades K-5, IB Middle Years Programme for all students in grades 6-10, and the IB Diploma Programme as an option for high school students in grades 11-12. Additionally, Marietta High School offers multiple industry-certified IB Career-related Programmes (CP), a framework of international education that incorporates the vision and educational principles of IB into career-related learning.
The Gwinnett County Public Library is a free provider of education and information for the people of Gwinnett County. Located in Metro Atlanta, the Library has 15 branches that offer free access to computers and Wi-Fi, classes, materials, and programming for people of all ages.
