El Foro Penal es una organización no gubernamental, sin fines de lucro, constituida por abogados en toda Venezuela y un grupo de más de 6000 activistas de Derechos Humanos en Venezuela y el exterior con el propósito de defender activamente y promover los Derechos Humanos. La actividad del Foro Penal Venezolano incluye la asistencia gratuita a detenidos, denuncias de violaciones a los Derechos Humanos en instancias nacionales e internacionales y la promoción activa del respeto a los Derechos Humanos y el Estado de Derecho.
