Today, Formtech’s corporate headquarters are located in Stow, OH (just outside of Akron), and the company has manufacturing facilities in Athens, GA and Fairview, PA. Formtech has developed a number of capabilities, including the ability to extrude multiple materials (co-extrusions, tri-extrusions, cap stocked products, etc.), hollow shapes, large sized products, complex profiles, and colored or clear extrusions. Formtech can add value to extrusions by embossing (texturing) the surface or by using its on- or off-line fabrication capabilities to punch, notch, drill, create tabs, apply film or adhesive, and more. Formtech has a full engineering staff in both locations and has an in-house tool room for building or repairing tooling.
