Form Dance Projects delivers a vibrant, engaging dance-based artistic program creating professional development opportunities for emerging to established choreographers and dancers. FORM provides access to dance education, appreciation and participation opportunities for the Western Sydney community. Since its inception in 2001, as Western Sydney Dance Action, the organisation has established strong networks with local and state government, education and community based sectors, and has a Board comprised of representatives from government, business and the arts. FORM Dance Projects has matured from a small dance service provider into a professional arts organisation with a growing reputation for presenting a high calibre artistic program of contemporary dance works. FORM Dance Projects has delivered projects in partnership with high profile arts organisations such as Sydney Festival and the Australian Chamber Orchestra. FORM Dance Projects presents a curated multi-stranded dance program across the four key areas of presentation, education, professional development and community outreach. FORM Dance Projects creates, shape and forms a diverse program of dance projects in collaboration with choreographers, dancers and artists.
