Fores is a global company representing the second largest capacity for producing ceramic proppants in the World. Family owned and headquartered in Yekaterinburg, Russia, Fores produces ForeProp primarily for the Russian market and MgLight primarily for the North American market. Fores owns and operates all of it's manufacturing facilities ensuring consistency and quality control in line with ISO 9001, rather than sourcing it's products from third party manufactures. The magnesium silicate composition of Fores's product line is unique to the industry and enables the production of an intermediate strength lightweight proppant with less coarseness than many of the products currently on the market. Service Companies have reported less wear and tear on their equipment and Operators consistently report well performance that meets or exceeds their expectations. Recently, many operators have chosen to cut upfront costs and utilize a less expensive and often lower quality proppant as a short-term approach to producing their wells so they can be paid off quickly. Other operators have a different approach and realize that when the temperature and pressure of a formation warrant a quality ceramic proppant; the long term revenue gain from acreage that continues to produce for years to come far exceeds the upfront costs of the proppant. It is these operators that represent Fores's primary target market.
