ForensicShield is an AI-powered platform being developed to support forensic clinicians in strengthening the clarity, consistency, and defensibility of forensic psychological evaluations. Forensic evaluations often address complex clinical questions and high-stakes legal decisions. Reports must translate psychological data into reasoning that courts can understand and rely on when making determinations about competency, criminal responsibility, risk, and other legal issues. While clinicians receive extensive training in assessment and forensic methodology, the process of reviewing a report for logical clarity, internal consistency, and alignment with legal standards often relies on individual experience and informal review practices. ForensicShield is being developed to help bring more structure to that process. The platform is designed to assist forensic professionals in reviewing written evaluations to identify areas that may benefit from additional clarification, stronger connections between data and conclusions, or greater transparency in reasoning. The goal is not to replace clinical judgment, but to support it. By combining advances in artificial intelligence with real-world forensic expertise, ForensicShield aims to provide tools that help clinicians strengthen their written analysis before reports ever reach the courtroom. ForensicShield is currently entering early beta testing with practicing forensic professionals.
