Fordham's South Asian Business Association (SABA) Information

The club aims at the following: - To bring together current graduate and undergraduate students, alumni, faculty, and other facilitators to achieve professional, academic, and cultural goals. - To help students find internships and full-time jobs by providing networking opportunities through various events and collaborations. Invite professionals and industry experts of fortune-500 companies, startups, independent businesses, big four accounting firms, other companies, and organizations in the tri-state area to give talks and presentations. - Organize discussions, counseling, and guidance workshops with other influential leaders who can provide insight into professional success and train on personality development, leadership, and other interpersonal skills. - Helping new international students understand cultural differences, transitioning from home country to the US, facilitating student airport pick-up, assisting in finding accommodation and supplies, providing information about public transportation, providing other information for settling down in NYC such as opening bank account, DL/state ID card, and other document procurement. - Organizing South Asian cultural events to give fun-filled experiences to students, alumni, and these events will also be a great way to spread knowledge of South Asian art, culture, traditions, music, dance, food, and movies. - Participation in these events will be something people will enjoy and cherish for a lifetime. - To take part in volunteering activities and promote the social service spirit among students.
