ForceDecks Information

Created by UK-based NMP (Neuromuscular Performance) Technologies, ForceDecks is a dual-force platform system comprising both hardware and software that measures various aspects of athletic performance. Uniquely, through an automatic detection of the type of tests being performed on the platform, the system provides instant data and rapid analysis of an athlete’s muscle performance, injury risk and/or rehabilitation progress. This has allowed, for the first time, force platform data to be readily collected and analysed in the high-pressure environment of a training ground. The company was founded in 2013 by Dr Daniel Cohen, a sports scientist, and Dr Phil Graham-Smith, a biomechanist – two leaders in their fields with over 40 years’ combined experience working with elite sports teams.
