Northwood School fosters growth in young people so that they may engage their world and lead lives of consequence. Northwood School is a nationally recognized private boarding and day school located in the world-renowned destination of Lake Placid, New York, host of the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympics. Founded in 1905, Northwood School’s diverse student body is composed of 190 students from all parts of the United States and internationally. In addition to offering regular level, Honors and A.P. courses in every academic discipline, Northwood’s innovative curriculum also features several signature academic programs that distinguish its graduates in the college admission process. As a result, Northwood’s graduates consistently earn opportunities to continue their academic and athletic careers at some of the most selective colleges and universities in the United States and around the world. In addition to its historic campus, Northwood School takes advantage of the unique facilities and unmatched beauty of the Adirondacks to provide its students with an academic and athletic experience that is unique to the secondary school level. The school has recently opened a new state of the art learning facility, located on Main Street in downtown Lake Placid, to further expand the opportunities available to its students.

Spring Valley School is an independent, coeducational, college-preparatory school whose mission is to provide excellence in education for bright students with learning differences. Spring Valley School admits students with average to above-average intelligence who have been diagnosed with a language or mathematics-based learning difference such as Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, or Dyscalculia.

Harmony School is an independent K-12 school in Bloomington, Indiana. Since its founding in 1974, Harmony School has been dedicated to the historic purpose of schooling: preparing young people to participate thoughtfully and actively in our democratic society. Harmony School is one branch of Harmony Education Center. The other branch is the National School Reform Faculty (NSRF) which works to increase student achievement through professional learning communities called Critical Friends Groups, or CFGs. The Harmony Education Center partners with the Deborah Meier Archive at Lilly Library and the IU School of Education Living-Learning Center as the Harmony-Meier Institute for Democracy and Equity in Education.
