There are two main goals of football.com, the first goal of the platform is to allow youth players to track success and progress throughout their careers, gain attention from scouts, schools and sponsors, and to establish a professional online presence to help showcase their talent. The second goal of football.com is to allow administators of clubs and teams to manage financials, schedules, and calendars properly and effectively while increasing visibility among the governing bodies, leagues, clubs, teams, and players. Players are then invited to register through their clubs or through open registration and once registered a player can set up a profile. Profile pages are owned by the players and can be updated to match new club status. The player’s page emphasizes individual soccer game stats, freestyle highlights and pictures of them in action, all of which are fully customizable.
