Who We Are Food Matters began with a mission to feel the healthiest, most vibrant version of ourselves. Our first film launched in 2008, and four films, one podcast, countless guided programs, an annual magazine, and one online streaming network later, our mission remains the same. The Food Matters community is unlike any other. Our audience spans over 3 million people worldwide, who come together to share new ideas, lift each other up, and look after themselves holistically. It’s our community that inspires us to dive deeper into our understanding of nutrition, the way we perceive health, and how we can use tools like meditation and yoga to transcend the bounds of reality. About Us In 2003, James’ father was diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome. We saw firsthand how the modern medical profession was failing him, with a cocktail of medications to address the fatigue and all of the cascading side effects. But like anyone, he put his faith in the professionals prescribing his pills, and grew more disheartened as time went on and nothing changed. Or if it did, it got worse. We knew there had to be a better way to get through to him. So we hit the books and soon discovered we could heal our health with nutrition. It was here that our journey into Food Matters began. FOOD MATTERS is based on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, meters from white sandy beaches and healthy cafes. We're a team of 15+ at our Australian HQ, 8+ VA's in the Philippines and global warehouse and distribution partners. Food Matters Institute The Food Matters Institute is home to the Food Matters Nutrition Certification Program. This is a world-class online nutrition training program helping you to transform lives, including your own. We’ve assembled the greatest minds, independent from big business interests, to share with you the most trusted research on nutrition and healing in the world. Study nutrition online with us today.
