The Antinori family has been committed to the art of winemaking for over six centuries since 1385 when Giovanni di Piero Antinori became a member, of the “Arte Fiorentina dei Vinattieri”, the Florentine Winemakers’ Guild. All throughout its history, twenty-six generations long, the Antinori family has managed the business directly making innovative and sometimes bold decisions while upholding the utmost respect for traditions and the environment.

Planeta is a Journey through Sicily. A journey which has lasted for seventeen generations of agriculture. A journey above all made of vines and of wine, but also of olive groves, almond orchards and now of Sicilian hospitality and the island’s landscapes. Menfi, Vittoria, Noto, Etna and Capo Milazzo together illustrate a journey made from courage and innovation, of environmental and social responsibility, of work and duty, with our gaze always turning to the horizon with our feet well planted on Sicilian soil.
