Founded in 2005 by Yann Arthus-Bertrand and officially recognized as a public-interest foundation, GoodPlanet Foundation encourages people to reconnect with the wonders of the living world in order to better protect it. Through immersive experiences and concrete actions, the Foundation inspires and empowers everyone to embrace a collective, positive, and inclusive approach to ecological transition.
At a time of growing social and environmental challenges, GoodPlanet Foundation believes that the ecological transition is an opportunity to strengthen social cohesion by collectively imagining a sustainable and desirable future. To address this challenge, the Foundation raises awareness, inspires action, and supports individuals, organizations, and businesses in becoming agents of change. Through educational expertise and the development and support of practical initiatives, it helps turn environmental commitment into concrete action. By highlighting local initiatives, the Foundation demonstrates that another way of living together is not only possible but already underway.
Its awareness-raising activities take place both at a unique hub in Paris, the Domaine de Longchamp, and through programs deployed across France. The Foundation also supports local partners implementing solutions to environmental, economic, and social challenges in their communities, both in France and internationally. Its initiatives focus on the development of agroecology, the restoration and preservation of marine and coastal ecosystems, and access to essential goods and services.
To mobilize all sectors of society and help organizations build a sustainable and desirable future, GoodPlanet Foundation, through MyPlanet, provides strategic and operational support to businesses and local authorities in their ecological transition. This includes consulting services, awareness-raising workshops, and Qualiopi-certified training programs.
