Folio is a subsidary of D Smith Joinery, a family owned company established in 1972 to create high quality purpose made joinery for the colleges in Oxford. Folio started life supplying library furniture to prestigious public schools such as Eton, Radley, Charter House, Merchant Castle and Loretto to name a few. Folio dual purpose computer desks started supplying desks to schools in 2004. To date Folio have installed desks into 150 schools, many schools having returned to have more classrooms fitted. Folio are one of the main suppliers to the MOD having supplied HMS Sultan (36 classrooms) RAF Holton, RAF Yeovilton (7 classrooms), Royal Signals (5 Classrooms), Faslelane Navy Base, RNAS Culdrose, RAF Leeming, and the Met Office. The Folio concept was about creating intelligent concepts and systems to save space or store away the biggest pieces of desktop clutter; the monitor and keyboard!
