FMD Grand Foundation Information

FMD Grand is a 501c3 non-profit Foundation dedicated to fathers and grandparents who are affected by obstacles that prevent the development of true loving relationships with their children and grandchildren. Some obstacles include the court systems, adverse actions from former spouses, difficult finances or even subtle personal feelings of defeat. FMD stands for Forever My Daddy and Grand stands for Grandparents. FMD Grand Foundation provides the educational platform about parental and grandparental alienation along with educating mechanisms to overcome many of the obstacles fathers experience after broken marriages. Many fathers and grandparents are prevented from developing the relationship with their children and grandchildren that both they and the children deserve. The Foundation consists of workshops and speakers, men and women, who teach others methods and actions that help promote the relationships between themselves, their children and grandchildren. Workshops include topics such as prenuptial agreements, grandparent rights, and keeping generational wealth. Our most highlighted workshop examines the potential pitfalls for targeted professions and occupations including medicine, professional athletics, political offices and high-powered corporate positions. Topics include the roles of therapists, court systems, educators, friends, family, and children and their importance to not be the obstacle that prevents fathers from having healthy loving relationships with their children. FMD Grand Foundation promotes a Father's Day Weekend Celebration with workshops such as the workshop "When you sometimes dislike your father yet do not know why. This offering is an interactive workshop for teenagers and adults who do not live in the same home as their father. We promote workshops with the participation of fathers and grandparents. Guest speakers such as lawyers, judges, athletes, social workers, and doctors provide words of wisdom to parents, family members, girlfriends, teachers, administrators, coaches, ...
