Product Development: • Product support to create new innovative product offerings • Trend research • Relationship with 2 and 3-dimensional designers + trend experts to assist in product direction • Consulting support for in-store merchandising Sourcing: • Analysis of current suppliers + identification of potential cost savings • Locate and facilitate search for appropriate factories with the required production skill sets • Negotiate with current and new suppliers to support goals for existing and new product development (Price, Costing, Tooling, Payment Terms, MOQ, etc.) • Develop and implement Corrective Action Plans as needed • Monitor raw material pricing trends Production: • Item specification development • Daily order management and problem-solving to achieve delivery requirements • Develop and manage all sample approval processes • Final AQL audits before product ships from overseas suppliers for new factories • Timeline development and management for product launches and legacy businesses • Facilitate 3rd Party testing at client's request • Manage tooling development + testing
