Since 2013, I have experienced profound, positive changes in my health. Taking me from a place of dependence to independence in many, many ways. My personal experience has inspired me to share, inform and educate people about the human body, how it is built and how it was designed to function. My goals include empowering others with meaningful information, personalized answers and opportunities for health so that they can achieve wellness too and live the life they desire. I know what it feels like to sit on the sidelines and say no-thank-you to opportunities and events because your physical body and mind were not up to the task. I am living proof that recovery is possible and achievable and it is never too late! It's a medical novel too long to imagine, but I will share the headliners... I was diagnosed with MS in 1998 and was fully paralyzed from the chest down for 72 hours in the early stages of that diagnosis. It took a miracle and battalion of doctors and determination to recover and successfully walk down the aisle 6-months later. As if the tragedy of that experience weren't enough, I suffered numerous ailments before and after that diagnosis, have had several surgeries and procedures over the course of my life, taken dozens of prescription drugs, lived on daily OTC remedies, and through it all, living a healthy (or so I thought) active wonderful life. After all, being a naturally positive person, having a loving family a wonderful marriage, full-time job and being blessed with children seemed to invalidate any issues and make the chronic nature of my ill-health a non-issue.
