Fly-Q operates both helicopters and aeroplanes and with our network of contacts around the world, we can pretty much take you wherever you want to go. Charter rates can be incredibly confusing, so it's important that we know your exact requirements. It's best to contact us and then we can help you with a more specific quote. However, if you want a rough guide, a four seat helicopter (pilot + 3 passengers) will cost about £400 per hour; a seven seat helicopter (pilot + 6 passengers or 2 pilots + 5 passengers) will cost about £1200 per hour and an eight seat plane will cost about £2000 per hour. The hour that we talk about here is a flying hour. You don't get charged for the flight planning or for the time the aircraft is on the ground (unless your destination charges parking fees). You do get charged for pilot services and landing fees and the chargeable hours are almost always payable on a round trip basis - regardless of whether or not you are on board. Again, as a rough guide only, from any of our bases in the Midlands we can get you to London or Manchester in about 30 minutes by six seat helicopter.
