Fly Baghdad is the first low-cost carrier in Iraq, it provides you with the comfort, punctuality, and reliability for the best prices. The idea of establishing the airline was first put into action back in early 2014, when group of Iraqi businessmen decided to form an airline. Fly Baghdad officially started as an airline in 15th of July 2014, at that time the airline was serving mainly the charter market. In the early 2017, the board of directors elected to enter into the schedule market, and the Fly Baghdad relaunched itself to become the first low-cost carrier in Iraq. From the first days of the relaunch, the new concept proved to be very successful and is widely accepted by passengers. Building on the initial great success, Fly Baghdad is now investing on acquiring more aircrafts to add to their fleet. The new aircrafts will be of type Boeing 737-700 NG, and planning to fly them to serve stations in the Middle East, Asia, and Europe.
