Fluff Alpaca Information

Established in 2018. Fluff Alpaca is a family-owned business that developed organically from our farm, Green River Hollow. We feel passionately about local artisans, the importance of agriculture in the Berkshires and Hudson Valley and, of course, alpacas. We are committed to supporting sustainability by providing our customers with a broad selection of high-quality women's, men's and children's clothing and accessories produced by eco-friendly, ethical brands. Fluff Alpaca is a family-owned business that developed organically from Suzanne & Bob Werner's farm, Green River Hollow. When Suzanne, the owner of Fluff Alpaca, first knitted with alpaca yarn in the 1980s, she knew it was a special fiber. Making a cabled sweater for her father, she became familiar with the fiber's ability provide soft warmth without significant weight. Fast-forward 30 years and Fluff Alpaca was born in its first and only current brick-and-mortar location in Hudson, NY. The store features alpaca knitwear and other sustainably-made clothing and accessories for men, women, children (and even dogs!).
