Just over 19 years ago, three ambitious individuals strolled into a modest office on Henley Beach Road in suburban Adelaide with a shared vision. Their dream was to provide quality outdoor lifestyle products backed by the very best in customer service. Australian Outdoor Living (AOL) was open for business… and what a journey it has been! We’ve grown throughout the years without losing that special family-owned culture that sets us apart from the rest. That culture is what makes us tick, and we’re proud to be able to showcase it to our customers on a daily basis. We’ve also taken our great business model interstate, with offices in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, Newcastle, Brisbane and Canberra, as well as our ‘home’ city of Adelaide. Our products – including Outdoor Blinds, Artificial Lawn, Roller Shutters, Verandahs, Pergolas, Timber Decking and Outdoor Kitchens – and services have helped to make us a true market leader in outdoor home improvements across the country. We’re clearly doing a lot right when it comes to outdoor home improvements, and we’re constantly welcoming countless more Australians to our growing family of happy customers. Australian Outdoor Living is a very exciting company that continues to flourish as the months and years go by. With about 250 passionate team members, AOL continues to pave the way in outdoor home improvements. Our dedication to improving the lives and lifestyles of Aussie families across the country will never waver, and we look forward to working with many more in the years to come.

The Curtain Wonderland story began in 1971 when brother and sister Neville Russell and Pam Tacey opened their first store in Mt Gravatt, Brisbane. The initial focus was on soft-furnishing fabrics – all of which sold for 99c a metre! Since 1971, the Curtain Wonderland Group has continued to expand. It has shown solid and continuous growth and now holds a strong position in the market. The quality of our products is reinforced by the fact we are now part of Australia’s largest window coverings company – Kresta Holdings Limited. With a work culture based on teamwork and a positive working environment, we are proud to have grown from such humble beginnings to our recent successes.
