FlowArt® Therapy is a sex-positive group practice specializing in sex therapy for adults in Washington, Virginia, and Maryland. We provide affirming, inclusive care for individuals and relationships navigating polyamory, kink, LGBTQ+ identities, and sexual wellness concerns. Founded by Dr. Misty Gibson, PhD, AASECT Certified Sex Therapist & Supervisor (CST-S), FlowArt Therapy is grounded in the belief that sexual health is an essential part of overall well-being. Our clinicians are dedicated to helping clients build healthier, shame-free experiences of intimacy, identity, and connection. In addition to therapy, FlowArt Therapy is committed to advancing the field of sex therapy through professional education. As an NBCC Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEP) and AASECT continuing education provider, we design and deliver high-quality workshops and trainings for mental health professionals. These programs support clinicians in developing competence in sex therapy, polyamory- and kink-affirming practice, and ethical telehealth.
